30/06/18 – Shep has found a home!
Shep is a beautiful medium-sized old boy who is around 10 years old. He is a good old-fashioned crossbreed who has had a rough life, so he really deserves a comfy retirement surrounded by a family that loves him. At his age, he ought to have the care and love he has missed out on so far. Shep was rescued from a Romanian shelter by Safe Rescue who are carng for him in a foster home.
The scars on Shep’s face and body tell the story of a hard life before his rescue. It doesn’t look like he has had any comfort or love in his life, and the light and hope probably faded from his eyes some time ago.
Shep is new to this thing called home and family. It’s still early days for him and he seems to be wondering if it’s all for real and for keeps. It must feel like heaven to have a warm, dry home and a soft bed. He can handle short walks but shows little interest in his surroundings. This will come in time when he realises and accepts that his worries are behind him.
Shep enjoys the company of other respectful dogs and is totally uninterested in cats. He likes having a fuss and cuddle but is still too shy and wary to approach and ask for it. Again, this will come in time.
Shep deserves to live a life of luxury for his remaining years. His owners should be devoted to making sure he has enough love, care, soft beds, nice food and cuddles to make up for his lost years.
