Tess is a lovely 11 year old Staffy girl who was very sadly abandoned in a house by her previous owner. Luckily Tess was rescued and she is now with Staffordshire Bull Terrier Rescue in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.

Tess is an affectionate girl and, despite everything, she absolutely loves humans. Tess would like to be your only pet as she is not so keen on other dogs.

Tess loves a wander round the block but her favourite thing in the world is to find a sunny spot in the garden and just lie there and sunbathe.

When she arrived in rescue, Tess had a few lumps and was very overweight. The lumps have been removed and tested and one of them proved to be cancerous and so Tess’s new people will need to watch for regrowth. The vets managed to take away a good margin either side though, which is a good thing, and if anything further concerning this lump happens in the future the rescue say they will address it. Tess is also deaf. She will need to have a strict diet to help her lose weight.

Special Tess didn’t deserve to be left behind in a house like an unwanted piece of furniture. What she does deserve is a loving family to care for her in her autumn years.
