15/3/18 – At long last, adorable Torres has found his forever home! Good luck Torres.

Please meet Torres, a very handsome 9 year old Sharpei boy who is now in the care of the RSPCA Liverpool Branch at the Halewood Animal Centre.

Torres is a very special boy and he needs to find the perfect forever home where he will be thoroughly spoiled for the rest of his life. He was found wandering the streets in a terrible state, with wounds all over his body and untreated ear and eye problems. The poor boy had fly strike and it’s taken many months of vet treatment to get him back to health.

The RSPCA staff say “The months of worry and upset over this boy were worth it, just to see him now enjoying life and having lots of cuddles and treats. We want him to find a home where he’ll be treated like the little super star he really is!”

Torres is a friendly, chilled out man with a relaxed nature, and he loves going for walks and spending time with you. He walks well on a lead, knows his basic commands and even knows “paw”. He would be ideal for a first time dog owner and he wouldn’t mind being left for short periods of time.

Torres gets along fine with other dogs, but occasionally he behaves inappropriately and is a little randy! He may be able to live with another dog and possibly a dog-savvy, friendly cat. Torres is a really lovely boy and he’ll fit perfectly with an older family, with children aged 11 years and over.

Torres is neutered and in good health. He does need some further treatment, but the RSPCA staff would be happy to discuss this with potential adopters.
