12/02/20 – Champ has found a home

Please meet Champ, a 10 year old, medium-sized Crossbreed who has fought so hard to be here and is waiting patiently for his forever home and a family to love him. He is enjoying the comforts of a foster home in Kent through Pawprints to Freedom until a lovely owner takes him home.

Champ was very sick with distemper but he is still here to tell the tale, and he is now fully recovered and looking for his forever home. Champ is a super sweet boy and, after defying all the odds, he deserves the chance to live out his senior years comfortably.

Champ really wants is his very own retirement home, one where he can live out the rest of his years feeling safe, loved and happy. He knows that his family is somewhere and just waiting for him to join them. He will need a patient and caring home as he has a slight wobble in his walk and isn’t so steady.

Champ gets on with others dogs and currently lives with them too. He doesn’t get on with male dogs that haven’t been neutered. Since he has been in foster care, he hasn’t come across any children, but he has been tested with them when he was in Romania and he was very friendly. He was also tested with cats in Romania and is good with them too.

Please have a look at a short video of Champ here.

Champ is not yet lead trained but his fosterer is working on this with him and it is something his adoptive family will need to continue. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
