19/1/20 – Little Cyd has gone off to her new home. Good luck, Cyd!

———————-

Little Cyd is having no luck at all in finding her forever home. Her new owners came to collect her, drove down the road for 10 minutes when the man admitted to his wife that he didn’t like her and brought her back to The Little Rescue who are so sad at this outcome.

Cute Cyd is an 8 year old, female, white and tan Jack Russell Terrier. She lived with a family for the first 7 years of her life but then, due to a change in their circumstances, they had to give her up. She was rehomed by The Little Rescue in Hertfordshire, but sadly a member of the family became very ill with dementia. Cyd then went for a short time to a small but busy family and, again, it wasn’t the right home for her.

Cyd loves being with people and would enjoy life in a quiet home, preferably with someone who works from home or is retired. A maximum of 2 adults in the home and no children would be perfect. She is very active and will happily go for 1 to 2 walks a day for approximately an hour or maybe longer. Cyd can suffer with separation anxiety, but she has been okay at her fosterer’s home near Bishops Stortford. With the right dog as a companion, she would settle better.

Cyd travels fine in a car. She can live with another dog as long as they are laid-back and not in her face, but she does not want to live with cats. She has no known medical needs and has been neutered.
