06/06/19 – Eddie has had many offers and is now choosing his favourite. Good luck lovely boy!

Eddie is a gentle-natured 8-year-old Crossbreed boy who is being rehomed by Romanian Rescue Appeal and is in a foster home in Reading after being rescued from Romania. He was sadly found in a ditch, injured.

Short-legged Eddie is good with other dogs and he adores the resident dog at his foster home. He is great when walking on and off the lead. He is used to children but needs a home without cats.

This lovely boy is housetrained and has never had an accident in the home. He is also good when being groomed and bathed. He stays close to his human and takes treats very gently, although can show signs of food aggression if he’s around a group of dogs he doesn’t know and they get in his face while he’s getting a treat. Knowing this, his fosterer keeps him at the back of the queue when other dog walkers are handing out treats – he then waits patiently for his turn.

Eddie has been OK to be left for a couple of hours with another dog to keep him company. He’d probably be OK as an only dog. He only walks for a maximum of 1 hour per day due to him having surgery on one of his hind legs when in Romania and it being pinned very badly. He’s happy to plod along if he gets tired but shouldn’t have excessive exercise. He walks with a limp and requires pain relief medication. He is neutered.

Eddie is an ‘easy’ companion who doesn’t require any further training. He is quite happy to stay at home with his human, or go wherever his human is. He is super friendly and a really chilled out dog who loves fuss and attention.

Could you offer lovely Eddie a new home?
