28/9/19 – Gorgeous Floyd has found a wonderful new home!
———————–

Floyd is a 9-year-old Retriever boy who is being rehomed by Starfish Dog Rescue and is in Gloucestershire. He is up for rehoming due to a change in circumstances of his family.

Floyd is a Golden Retriever from working lines, hence his difference look. He is a lovely boy who is used to living with another dog and with teenage children. He has been with his family since a puppy and he received Gun Dog training when he was younger so is very well trained. He is an active boy who walks beautifully on the lead, has an excellent recall, travels well and is used to being left.

Here is a video of Floyd out on a walk:

He has always lived with other dogs so it would be nice for him to have a home with dogs, but that’s not necessarily essential. He would benefit from a fairly active home with people around for a large part of the day. He would love to live in the countryside too. He can’t live with cats.

Floyd is being neutered imminently and he has also started his course of vaccinations. He will receive flea and worm treatment too.

Floyd has no negative points and is a very straightforward boy. There will obviously be a period of adjustment required for him when his whole world changes, but someone is going to be very blessed to share their home with this boy.

Here is a video of Floyd asking for a walk, with the aid of his ball chucker:

Who could resist that handsome face?
