23/7/19 – Lovely Lavender has found a home!

Wonderful Lavender is an active, happy 8 year old girl in the care of Love Underdogs in Waltham Abbey, Essex. She’s is full of character and, although she’s missing a leg she loves her walks!

She is really sweet and just enjoys spending time in good company.

Sadly, Lavender has been overlooked in kennels for some time. This might be to do with her missing leg or perhaps her territory guarding skills can put off less experienced people. It’s her job to protect her patch, after all!

This trait can’t really be worked on until she’s in a proper home and experienced owners will be able to manage it easily, as it’s normal to tell visitors they better jolly well behave themselves! The rescue offer post adoption support through their behaviourist if necessary. She’s soon friendly and loves everyone after proper hellos.

As with all this rescue’s dogs, Lavender will have a two week home trial with any prospective adopter. She’s a real character, so inspirational and always looking at life on the bright side. She will make anyone giving her a home feel very special.

She could live with another confident dog after happy introductions at the rescue.

Are you able to offer Lavender a chance to find happiness?
