9/11/19 – Luanne has found a home
Lovely Luanne was rescued from a Romanian shelter two years when all the dogs were due to be killed. She’s now safely living in a foster home in Feltham, Middlesex, provided by Safe Rescue and hoping to be offered a loving, forever home soon.
Luanne is a medium-sized Crossbreed of around 7 – 8 years old. She is a very gentle girl who has come a very long way. When she first arrived in her foster home, she was very frightened, would not let anyone touch her and would cower in the corner whenever people were around.
Now, Luanne sleeps comfortably in the family room surrounded by people and is happy to be stroked and fed chicken by hand. She still has a way to go and is quite jumpy and nervous at times, but the steps she’s already taken show that with the right family and some patience, she will certainly get there.
Luanne’s personality is starting to blossom as she becomes playful with her foster brother and loves going on walks. She would likely benefit from having another dog in the home to show her how to flourish and what fun doggy life can be. She’s even showing a cheeky side and is coming out of herself more and more each day. Luanne is happily living with a cat in her foster home.
Luanne would make a wonderful addition to a patient family who have time to dedicate to building her confidence and helping her to realise that not all humans are bad. She is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.
