5/2/20 – Matrix has been rehomed!

Matrix is a lovely 10-year-old Labrador Cross who is at National Animal Welfare Trust in Hayle, Cornwall. He needs to be rehomed within Cornwall due to numerous visits being required as part of NAWT’s standard rehoming process.

Matrix is quite a big boy and is very strong on the lead, so needs to continue to work on his lead walking skills with his new owner. He is also adorable and he absolutely loves other dogs, and once he has bonded with them they help him relax and his big cheeky character comes through. For this reason Matrix is looking for a home with a canine friend or two, but they will need to be medium- to large-sized dogs as Matrix is too bouncy for small dogs.

Matrix has been in kennels quite a lot through his life which seems to have affected his confidence, bless him. He has a sensitive side and can get quite overwhelmed in new situations and with new people, so needs an understanding owner.

He loves to have a little play and some tasty treats, but he’s not allowed too many treats as, being Labrador-based, he has to think of his figure. Matrix ideally needs an adult-only home, but he could possibly live with sensible teenagers. He could also possibly live with a cat, but a home visit would be needed to check everyone was going to get along. Once he has settled in his new home, Matrix should be fine to be left for up to 2 hours while you go out. His exercise requirements are described as ‘medium’.

Could you offer this big sweetheart the lovely home he deserves?
