Mildred has a sad story but with a happy ending and she is hoping that her new life will continue to be even happier in a retirement, forever home. She is currently being fostered in Erdington, Birmingham, provided by Safe Rescue.

Mildred is a smallish Crossbreed girl and is around ten years old. She was found late one night by the side of the road in Romania. The lady who found her thought she was dead and went respectfully to move her from the road but, as she approached, she realized she was badly injured but alive.

Mildred was rushed to the vets and treated for her injuries and is now looking for a lovely retirement home. Her fosterer says:
“Mildred is shy and quiet but, once she knows you, will greet you with a waggy tail and happily cuddle up on the sofa with you. She tolerates some dogs and warns the big dogs away. Mildred is happy pottering round the garden. Lead training is ongoing as she is quite nervous out. She loves her food and could do with losing a bit of weight. Mildred is a gorgeous, older lady who needs some TLC.”

Mildred will be vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.
