Adorable Milo is looking for a new home as his beloved owner has passed away. He is an 11-year-old Pomeranian x Chihuahua boy who is being rehomed by Freshfields Animal Rescue in Liverpool but he is not yet at the kennels.

Milo is a timid boy whose world has been turned upside down. He likes to take his time to get to know and trust new people and will bark initially. He needs time to adjust and will come to you when he is ready and feels safe. You just need to ignore him and give him space until he gets used to you.

Milo is a very sweet and affectionate boy in the home, a typical lap dog, and he tends to protect his person so may be best suited to a home with one person. He currently lives with 2 cats and could live with cats in his new home, but he can be reactive towards dogs on walks so needs a home where he is your only dog.

Milo is clean and non-destructive and can be left alone for a couple of hours, although he is used to someone being around for most of the day. He travels well in the car.

Milo needs a calm and quiet adult-only home free from young children, including visiting children. His new person must be prepared to make several trips to and from Freshfields to form a bond with him before adoption. This will then progress to a slow introduction to your home, so please bear your location in mind should you wish to enquire about him.

Milo is not at Freshfields kennels. You must call to make an appointment to meet him if you are interested.
