3/6/19 – We are delighted to hear that Rose has found a lovely new home!

————–

Pretty 8-year-old Rose originates from Egypt, where she had a truly horrible life. She was rescued by her current carer in August last year, and she is temporarily living in Wiltshire. Rose is being rehomed privately by her carer. Home offers in the south of England or in Wales would be the most convenient, but the perfect home further afield would be considered.

Despite everything she has been through, Rose is an extremely loving and affectionate girl. As long as she is fed and has cuddles, Rose is very happy. She is housetrained and is low maintenance with regards to exercise.

Rose is currently living with another female dog and they get on OK, except that Rose can be a little aggressive when it comes to food. She is having behavioural rehabilitation for her fear aggression towards other dogs and she is doing amazingly well, however she would still be best living as an only dog, or possibly with a calm male friend.

Rose is very good with children and she has also been exposed to cats – sometimes she chases them, but if the cat stands its ground, she does nothing.

Rose would love a family home, or even one with an individual, as long as she has regular cuddles and affection – she LOVES human contact. A garden is a must for Rose as she likes to sunbathe a lot due to her time in Egypt.

Rose is fine left her own for a few hours and is non-destructive in the home, however she is naughty if food is left accessible and she will take food at any opportunity simply because of her past history.

Rose has no medical conditions and she is spayed and fully vaccinated.

Rose is being rehomed privately by her carer, Claire, who has confirmed that she will take Rose back if her new home doesn’t work out for any reason. Prospective adopters will be homechecked.

Could you offer Rose a loving home and lots of cuddles?
