31/1/20 – Big boy Bentley has gone off to his new home – wonderful news for him!

Bentley is a 7-year-old Dogue de Bordeaux with the most amazing temperament. He is with Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, at their Brands Hatch site.
Bentley is a big softy who sometimes does not realise his own size and weight and wants to be a lap dog! He is looking for new owners who have experience of larger breeds. There is a sensitive side to him around new people and other dogs so his new owners will need to be confident in managing his ongoing training and socialisation. You will need to have the time and patience to work with this beautiful boy and keep his big brain occupied with fun games and affection.
When Bentley makes friends with a dog he is happy to plod along beside them on his walks. Bentley can become a little bit over-exuberant with his favourite people so needs new owners that are confident in reading his body language and will be sympathetic to his slobbery ways!
If you’re a fan of giant breeds or Dogue de Bordeauxs in particular and you don’t mind a bit of slobber, you will fall in love with Bentley in a heartbeat.
Please be aware that you will need to be fully registered with Battersea before they will able to discuss him with you.
