Adorable little Ike is a Crossbreed boy of about 7 years. He’s in a foster home in Marsham, Norfolk through Safe Rescue. It’s thought he has some Basset Hound in the mix, with his slightly Queen Anne legs and he has quite a lot Beaglish about him too. He loves other dogs…

…and he really loves food!

This sweet boy has had a tough life, spending 5 years in a shelter in Romania. When he first came in to foster care in the UK, he was scared of people and found it difficult to trust anyone. Being in a multi-dog home certainly helped him relax and it’s thought he’d be happiest with at least one other dog in his new home.

Ike is a lovely boy with a real sense of joy when out and about with his pals. His confidence has come on in leaps and bounds. He’s good in the car, if a little nervous getting in. As long as there’s an adventure at the other end, he knows it’ll be worth it!

Ike doesn’t want to live with cats or small children but older, dog savvy children should be fine for him. His love of treats helps him to build trust. Although his past can never be erased, he’s definitely getting the hang of fun times now.

If you can offer sweet little Ike the happy retirement home he seeks, please contact Safe Rescue (quoting his ref. 0323054 and his location ref. FR001) as follows:
