7/12/20 – Sheba and Shiloh have found a home and are settling in well. Great news!
—————-
This pair of beauties are Sheba (left, female) and Shiloh (right, male), 9 year old Husky siblings. They’re looking for a forever foster placement together, through Suki’s Canine Rescue Crew. in the West Midlands. They’re in foster care at the moment, where they’ve been lovingly brought from a state of neglect to the fine specimens you see today.

They both have nice manners and will give paw for treats. Shiloh will even take a treat gently from his foster carer’s mouth!

They are picky eaters and have to be enthused about their complete food with more exciting additions. They both take medication which needs to be cunningly hidden in something tasty, like ham or cheese…nom-nom-nom!

Their previous owner’s inability to care for them due to their own poor health, meant that these lovely dogs were in a very sorry state when they first arrive in foster care. If you want to read all about their journey to health you can read through their Facebook album, here.

After a few months of TLC they’re happy, enjoying their walks and getting brushed every day. They both like fuss, although Shiloh prefers to be left in peace in the evenings. Sheba loves love at any time!

They are ever so well behaved in the house. They’re very quiet, gentle and laid back. Rather than bark, Shiloh will sing you a sad song if something’s amiss, like if he needs to be let out into the garden or his walkies is overdue.

It’s due to the various complaints they had when they arrived that they will remain the responsibility of the rescue for the rest of their lives. Any medical costs in future will be met by the rescue but they’re certainly in good nick for their age these days. All they need is a loving home to enjoy their retirement in comfort…

…together…

…in peace.
