27/12/21 – Bailey has found a home
This handsome gent is called Bailey and he is an 11 going on 12 year old Springer Spaniel. He’s looking for quite a special home with the help of Jerry Green Dog Rescue in South Lincolnshire.
Bailey is looking for an understanding, patient home. His new, potential owners will need to live either near the centre or be happy to travel as many times as it takes for him to build a bond with you. He can be very worried by new people and it will take him a while to show you his affectionate and playful side. His visits are likely to be taken slowly and at his pace which is why he is looking for a patient home.
Bailey would like to live in an adult-only home with no visiting children. He would love his new owners to be around most of the time, especially while he is settling in please. Bailey is bound to be a bit pacey in new environments and would benefit from having a safe space where he can retreat if it all gets a bit too much. Oh, and a sofa would be the cherry on the top!
Bailey can live with another older, calmer dog of a similar size and finds that having a doggie friend makes him feel a lot more confident in new places. Once a bond is formed, he will be best friends for life.
Being an older lad with a few aches and pains here and there, Bailey is receiving some pain relief just to help him feel a little bit better. He does not need much daily exercise due to this; however, he would love a nice secure garden where he can plod around and play with his toys.
