14/10/2021 – Great news: Bruno has found a loving home!
————-

Little Bruno is an 8-year-old Chihuahua x Jack Russell who is with Foal Farm Animal Rescue in Kent. Foal Farm prefer to rehome within their local area if at all possible.

This cheeky chap needs to have a calm, quiet and stable home life so that he feels safe and secure. He is happy with what’s familiar to him and doesn’t enjoy having visitors to his home. Bruno dislikes children, so he needs a home where there are no resident children and no visiting children. He needs to be your only pet and he also needs his people to be at home the majority of the time to help him adjust to his new life.

Bruno will need to be kept somewhere safe and quiet away from a visitors, so a home with few visitors will be the best scenario for him. Once settled in his new home, Bruno will be a fun and loving little dog, but he will need to be given boundaries and rules from the outset. He should be encouraged to enjoy his own safe space, alone, and this will be the best way to ensure that his rehoming will be successful. Bruno struggles with being left alone initially, but it is doable, and Foal Farm will guide Bruno’s adopter on how to go about this.

Bruno is great to walk but he does not appreciate dogs who insist on invading his personal space; he will react if they are persistent.

With experienced dog people who are used to small dogs with attitude, Bruno will make a sweet and fabulous friend, but he isn’t suitable for inexperienced adopters. Could you offer him the type of home he needs?
