20/6/21 – Geoff has been adopted!
Geoff has a very sad history of being in a public shelter in Romania for over 6 years and was extremely institutionalised when he arrived at his foster home in Camberley, Surrey. Safe Rescue are helping him to find the loving forever home he now deserves.
Geoff is an 8 year old, medium-sized Crossbreed. At first, he was very nervous and did lots of pacing, preferring to be alone in the garden and only resting when shut in with his carers. Gradually, he has settled into home life and enjoying all its comforts.
Geoff enjoys his walks and is good on the lead and does not pull at all. He still won’t come looking for affection, but he is enjoying it more and more especially if you have some ham. This poor lad shows all the signs of being in a shelter for far too long but, with love and understanding, he’ll make a lovely pet and companion.
Geoff is happily living with a female dog and a cat but he could also be the only dog. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and an adoption fee and home check apply.
Note: Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from Safe Rescue must wear a slip lead on walks for the duration of their lives. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue.
