5/2/21 – Oliver has proved very popular and is reserved for a new home!
Cute Oliver is a lovable, older boy who is currently happily enjoying life in a foster home in Manchester provided by Romanian Rescue Appeal. He must be rehomed with another dog and can live with cats. He is to be assessed with children.
Oliver is 9 years old (born 23/7/2011) and arrived from Romania just after Christmas. He has adjusted to life in a home very well, now enjoying his home comforts and the love he deserves. He is now really starting to come out of his shell and showing his lovely personality. He is a real cuddle monster, loves to please and adores human attention.
Oliver has bonded really well with the other foster dog in the home (Tiara). They love to play, cuddle and keep each other company. He has taken everything in his stride so far. He is obedient and clean in the house. He walks well on the lead, doesn’t pull and is sensitive to direction and has not been fazed by traffic, noise etc.
Oliver will need to go a home where there is another dog, and where someone is around most of the day as he has shown some signs of separation anxiety – this is something his foster carers are working on and assessing (subject to current lockdown restrictions). There are still some areas which need to be assessed: he has not met other dogs outside the house, or been introduced to children or cats. However, he has a gentle and calm demeanour.
Oliver is neutered, in good health, has no known medical issues and will make a loving companion.
