13/11/2021: Oreo has been adopted! Hooray!
Oreo is a gorgeous Chihuahua of 8 years in the care of All Animals Rescue & Rehome in Essex. He came into rescue when his owner was unable to care for him any longer due to increased working hours. Understandably, he was a very scared little man on arrival but it didn’t take long for his cheeky personality to come out! He is an absolute character and a real credit to his previous owner. He is very loving and well behaved and his foster carer adores him!
Oreo is a typical little lap dog. He loves nothing more than cuddles and he will gladly spend his entire day snuggled with you. He also likes to snuggle under the duvet with you at night, in fact he will demand it!
Oreo enjoys a walk and is happy to greet everyone he meets. He is an absolute pleasure all round. He is house trained and non-destructive. He mixes fine with other dogs and cats. As with most small dogs, Oreo mistakenly believes he is a huge wolf and likes to tell any new dogs not to even think about challenging him! He’s certainly claimed his spot as king of the castle in his foster home.
He is fine to be left for short periods on his own. He is just 3kg so, very small. Ideally, he needs an adult-only home but AARR will consider homes with older, sensible children. Oreo would be best with dogs his size or cats. He is always happy to snuggle with other animals!
Oreo is neutered, microchipped and worm/flea treated. He’s a very sweet little dog and low maintenance. He desperately wants a lap of his own to snuggle up on, can you offer him this?
