Just how cute is little Ringo? This sweet boy is undemanding and just looking for someone to love and care for him, short walks and a secure garden. He’s in the care of Chilterns Dog Rescue Society in Hertfordshire and waiting for a lovely owner who simply can’t resist him. Ringo would make an affectionate and intelligent companion for someone looking for a very small dog.

Ringo is a 9 year old, smooth-coated Chihuahua and he’s a tiny lad with a sweet disposition. He has shared a home with another dog, a female Chihuahua X, until the arrival of two babies in quick succession. The other dog did not cope well with all the changes so both dogs were brought to the Rescue for rehoming.

While Ringo is familiar with family life and is good with children, after a stressful two years with constant attention from babies, he would now much prefer to retire to an adult-only home. He has not met cats but would probably be unbothered by one that ignored him. Ringo would be happy to curl up and sleep in a comfy bed if he were to be left alone for a couple hours but has little experience of car travel and could be a bit anxious at first.

Ringo is neutered and is currently completing his vet checks. He has been diagnosed with a grade 2-3 heart murmur and, although he does not require medication now, this may change in the future. He is booked in for a dental and it is likely a number of extractions will be needed.
