Leicester Animal Aid have a sad situation with a lovely lady Staffie who was rehomed by them a few years ago. Her owner has gone into hospital and the outcome is unsure sadly. If all goes well, Ruby will be returned to him as they love one another but, meantime, she is urgently looking for a temporary foster home, which may be long or short term, within the Leicestershire area.

Ruby is 13 years old and, like her name, is a true gem and such a loving and loyal companion. All who meet her fall in love at first sight. She is such a delight to be around and like every Staffie she loves her fuss, cuddles and enjoys following you about.

Playtime with her ball is Ruby’s favourite and she loves her walks despite her age, but she must be kept on lead. She is fine passing other dogs but does not enjoy any close contact with them or cats.

Ruby has been used to having companionship throughout the day so needs a home with someone around for most of the time. Due to her age, she would best suit teenage interaction although she has been great around children of all ages.
