15/6/21 – Sweetpea has found a new home!

—————-

Sweetpea is a small 8 year old boy. He is in a Rocky Road Rescue foster home in Arbroath, Scotland.

Sweetpea loves a good cuddle and all he wants is a home with someone to cuddle up to and go for walks with. He needs an experienced owner and a home with no children. He shares his foster home with 2 cats and another dog. He will chase the cats, but only if the cat hits him (which they don’t do often). He gets on well with the dog, but he’s not a fan of larger dogs.

Sweetpea is toilet trained and he will let you know when he needs to go out. He is also doing great with his training, and has mastered the basic commands such as sit, stay, and paw. He has no separation anxiety and can be left alone for a couple of hours. He does bark at visitors, so meeting people outside before going into the home is important. He hasn’t been in a car while in foster.

Although he is an oldie, Sweetpea has a good amount of energy and he loves walks! His favourite types of toys are anything that squeaks. All he wants is a home with someone to cuddle up to and an owner who will further his training and continue putting boundaries in place.

He is neutured. Sweetpea has a sensitive stomach, but eats Harrington’s and gets on well with it.
