Beautiful Bella was rehomed last year from Safe Rescue but, due to the adopter’s ill health, she has been returned to them. She’s now living in a foster home in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, until she finds her new home.
Bella is a 9 year old, medium-sized lady and she is of course used to living in a home. She just loves attention and cuddles. She can be a little nervous around new people, so she would prefer a quiet home with no children. Bella would prefer to be the only dog in the home so she can hog the sofa and all the attention. She walks beautifully on the lead.
Bella is considerably plumper than when she was adopted a year ago, and she is currently on a strict diet and exercise regime. The weight that she has gained has had a detrimental effect on her joints, and she can currently only manage short walks. Potential adopters will need to be firm enough to keep Bella on a strict diet until she loses the weight. It is not known if her joint pain will ease with the weight loss, but it is expected to help.
Bella is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
Note: Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks for the duration of their lives. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full information about their rehoming policy is on Bella’s details on Safe Rescue’s Facebook
