2/11/22 – Gorgeous Dougie has found a home!

—————

Dougie is a handsome chap who sadly found himself as a stray and then at the pound at his age. Since arriving in care with Foal Farm Animal Rescue, he has stolen lots of hearts as he is a big goofball who loves people.

Dougie is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross and is 11 years old. Despite the changes he has been through recently, he is such a happy and affectionate lad. He arrived in poor condition, being underweight, having sore ears, itchy skin and a few lumps and bumps. He has been seen by the vet and been castrated and also had bloodwork done which thankfully came back clear.

Initial dog assessments have shown that Dougie is not too bothered about other dogs and could potentially live with another calm dog, but no cats please. He would also be fine with children over 12 years.

Dougie is now longing for a retirement home where he will get lots of love. His ideal home would be with older children who are calm, due to his age and also because he has shown some possessive behaviour with toys. Although he is an older boy, he is full of character and has so much love and fun to share with a new family.
