—————–

Flash is a gorgeous 10-year-old Lurcher who has been in kennels for over 3 years. He must be feeling like he’ll never find a new home, bless his heart. Flash is with Lurcher Link Rescue and is in West Yorkshire, near Halifax.

So now perhaps you’re asking yourself why such a handsome boy would have been overlooked for so long? And the answer is that he’s simply been unlucky. He’s just another unwanted lurcher looking for a home, like so many other unwanted dogs. Lurcher lovers will know what loyal and loving dogs they are, and how much they appreciate home comforts, so after 3 years in rescue, poor Flash must be feeling very sad.

All Flash wants is someone to love. He will give you his whole heart! He’s a fairly quiet boy, but does have his barky moments. He is clean in kennels and enjoys his food. He loves a treat and can snatch if you don’t get him to sit and wait first in order to prepare him to take the treat nicely. He travels well in the car and is good on the lead. He seems to have good recall, but the opportunities to test this in rescue are limited.

Flash is very friendly with people, but can be reactive to other dogs if he thinks they’re encroaching on his space. He’d be happy as an only dog, or with a very laid-back bitch. He isn’t suitable to live with cats and would like an adult only home.

Flash is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and has no existing medical conditions.

He’s waited so long to be someone’s best friend, soulmate and part of the family. Could you be the person to change Flash’s life?
