1/10/22 – Jasper’s found a home!

Brave little Jasper is a Terrier Cross looking for a home with at least one other dog, through Safe Rescue. He’s currently in a foster home in Gorleston, Norfolk where his confidence has come on in leaps and bounds.

Jasper would happily live with any sized pack as he knows where he is with other dogs. He can’t live with cats or small furries and children would need to be teenage, dog savvy and respect his sensibilities.

Jasper was rescued from Romania and was terrified of humans at first. He thought that anyone trying to touch him was going to hurt him and he reacted accordingly. What a difference a few months of kindness has made!

He still won’t let strangers touch him but he’s very affectionate with those he trusts now. He might take longer than some dogs to warm up to you but his love is worth the wait. The easiest way into his good books is lots of lovely walkies!

Jasper loves exploring the world with his friends. The beach is a particular favourite of his.

He enjoys a bit of a zoomies whenever possible.

Jasper travels well in a car and can be left at home for reasonable periods with his doggy companions when necessary. He’s an easy dog to live with and to love, when his needs are considered and he’s made to feel safe.

Note: Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks for the duration of their lives. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full information about their rehoming policy is on Jasper’s details on Safe Rescue’s Facebook
