Jovial Joseph is a lovely 10-year-old Jack Russell who joined All Animals Rescue & Rehome in Essex after his owner was no longer able to look after him due to their own poor health.
Joseph spent time in kennels before coming to AARR and he was very subdued and confused when he arrived, understandably pining for his owner. He is an adorable little lad once he knows you and loves nothing more than having snuggles with you!
He walks well on the lead and is great off-lead. He never wanders far from your side. That said, he does get distracted by interesting smells.
Joseph travels really well in the car and is a little gent to have around. He’s a fantastic little terrier and, unlike most terriers, he is quite the couch potato!
Joseph would make a great friend for an older person or couple. He is a very adaptable little lad. Most of the time he is on the sofa either on a lap or curled up beside you. He is clean in the house and fine with other dogs, but he would prefer to be the only dog in the house. He wants an adult-only home and has not been tested with cats.
He is neutered, microchipped, flea and worm treated. Joseph is so adorable and just needs a loving home to see out his twilight years in comfort, warmth and with lots of love.
