26/8/22 – Rehomed!
Lily is a shy but cheerful, medium sized Crossbreed of about 8 years. She’s in foster care in a multi-dog household in South Shields, Tyne & Wear through Safe Rescue. She would like to live with at least one other friendly dog to help her confidence.
It took Lily a month to relax and come out of her shell in foster. She’d previously spent years in a public shelter in Romania, never getting noticed because she was so timid. Now her happy, playful character is shining through but she will need to adjust to her adopters in her on time. She’s still quite nervous of men in particular so gradual, unforced getting to know each other is the way. If worried, she will hide and only come out when she’s ready. Bless her!
Lily loves her walks! She acts like a puppy when it’s time for the whole pack to go out on an adventure!
Needless to say, she is excellent with other dogs.
She wants an adult-only home which is peaceful and needs her forever humans to be kind and considerate about her shyness. She’s a loving, cheeky girl who adorn your sofa in the most adorable way.
Note: Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from Safe Rescue must wear a slip lead on walks for the duration of their lives. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used.
