All “Tiny Tot” craves is a retirement home with plenty of love and affection. He would like a new home where he can live peacefully without any young children or other animals and where he can enjoy his golden years with just you and him. Meantime, Tot is being cared for by Leicester Animal Aid and is looking forward to a lovely new home.

Tot is a 16 year old Jack Russell Terrier. He is a typical little old chap and set in his terrier ways so he can be quirky, though he is easy to care for. He does like things just so! He is independent but does like knowing someone is around. He will come up for a slight fuss but prefers to be fast asleep in a comfy basket and awake for the essentials of food and toileting.

Tot loves affection and attention once he trusts you. He can be a little unsure of new situations and people, but he soon becomes your friend when he knows you only want to love him. He is looking for an adult-only, retirement home as your only perfect pet, though he is happy meeting and greeting other dogs.

Tiny’s hearing isn’t as good as it used to be and he is a little doddery, so garden-only exercise is perfect for him. He does still have a voice and will let you know when he wants something or he can’t find you. He is used to pottering about his home as he pleases and not being restricted. He tends to be your shadow and does get distressed if he can’t find you. He is not keen on visiting the vet or being over-handled.
