8/6/23 – Bunty has found a home
————-

Bunty was born in a city in Bulgaria and, sadly, she has only ever known life in a shelter. She and her siblings were rescued but, unfortunately, all five pups had Parvo and only three pups survived. Their sister came to a home in the U.K. two years ago and Bunty is now safely in a foster home in Norwich, Norfolk, provided by Safe Rescue.

Bunty is a 7 – 8 year old Collie Cross. She is confronting her new life with wide-eyed enthusiasm and mostly cannot seem to believe her luck. She already knew how to walk on a lead when she arrived and loves her walks. Bunty is mixing well with other dogs and has passed her cat testing with no interest in the cat whatsoever.

Bunty is, however, very unused to meeting new people as she’s only ever encountered the few girls that worked at the shelter. It does take her a little while to warm up to new people but, once she does, she’s super loving and playful.

Although Bunty is settling well into domestic life, she still has a lot to learn and a lot of confidence to gain. She will need a fairly quiet home with no young children but would probably be ok with those over 12 as long as there isn’t too much rowdiness brought home.

Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used. Full details of their rehoming policy are on Bunty’s details on Safe Rescue’s Facebook
