21/12/23 – Wonderful news for gorgeous Fifi: she has found a new home in time for Christmas, and her new people found her via the Oldies Club website. We are so pleased to have been able to help Fifi find the happiness she so deserves!

Gorgeous Fifi is a gentle giant who first came to the RSPCA Essex South, Southend & District Branch) as an unclaimed stray. It was sadly clear to everyone that she has had a tough life. Fifi was severely underweight, had infected ears and eyes and had multiple litters over her lifetime.
Fifi is a red Dogue de Bordeaux and is 11 years old according to her microchip. Everyone is quite astonished at her age as no-one seems to have told Fifi how old she is. She certainly does not act it. Although she is past the days of walking for miles, Fifi still loves nothing more than to go out for walks around the neighbourhood and socialising with her friends.
Since coming into foster care, Fifi has come on in leaps and bounds. She loves everyone she meets and is loved by everyone in return. Fifi is just the sweetest thing and loves nothing more than snoozing on the sofa next to you after a busy day. She knows lots of general commands and is young at heart. She can be left for short periods.
Fifi would prefer a home with direct access to the garden. She could potentially share her home with other calm dogs (pending introductions), but she is not cat tested. Any children in the home should be over 12 years old as there is no previous history for her.
Fifi is now looking for her perfect retirement home and deserves nothing but the best. She is in general good health and should be spoiled for the rest of her days and treated like the queen that she is. Fifi will give nothing but love and kindness back to anyone taking her into their family.
