5/8/2023 Lovely Moya has been adopted!

Moya is a lovely, affectionate, older lady (approximately 11 years old) who is looking for her forever sofa and for someone to love her and enjoy her company for the rest of her years. She is currently living in a foster home in London SE20 provided by Romanian Rescue Appeal and hopes to find her new owner soon where individual attention would be beyond her dreams.
Moya does not ask for a lot these days and would be a very easy dog and very loving companion for an older person. She is a very affectionate older lady and she loves cuddles and being fussed, especially tummy rubs. She also enjoys her own space and quiet time. Visitors to the home are accepted once she gets to know them and if they come armed with treats, so much the better.
Moya is always very keen to go for her walk in the morning, although she is a little slower these days, but she does enjoy having a good sniff and a gentle stroll. Her recall is not good, so she is always on a long lead when outside. As with many older dogs, Moya does have some joint stiffness, although she can still manage stairs and jump on and off the sofa. She is taking supplements to ease symptoms.
Moya has a very full coat which needs regular grooming, but she loves going to the groomers for a spa session. She’s not over bothered with toys these days and, in general, she’d much rather just chill. She is fine with other dogs out on a walk as long as they are not invading her space but is not very happy to have other dogs in her home, so she would be best as an only dog and no young children.
