Brindle and Bracken are cute Collie/JRT Cross brothers and 15 are years old, currently living in Teignmouth near Devon. They belonged to the current owner’s parents who could no longer care for them and they already have a rescue dog who is unable to integrate with them. Ideally, it would be perfect to rehome them together, but separating them would be considered for the ideal home.

Brindle!

Brindle (the shorter dark one) is happy to potter about and will go up into the orchard but tires on much more. Bracken enjoys a game and a longer walk, although this does not appear to be essential. They would like some love, but they can be left alone for a while. They are also good in the car.

Bracken!

Brindle and Bracken have not been ‘played’ with much and so would probably like a bit of stimulation, not forgetting lots of love and attention more than anything. It’s not known if they could live with children but there seems to be no reason why they couldn’t. Both are fine with other dogs and cats.

Brindle and Bracken are neutered. When taken to the vet about two months ago, it was said they were undernourished and under-walked. Since then, they have both put on weight and had more walks in the last few weeks; they look healthy and perky for it. Neither dog is on medication or suffers from a health condition.

Brindle and Bracken are being rehomed privately by Ruth, who has confirmed that she will take them back if their new home doesn’t work out for any reason. Prospective adopters will be carefully home-checked.
