23/4/24 – Great news! Rufus has now found a home!

Soppy boy Rufus is a 10-year-old, medium-sized (20kg) Crossbreed who’s in a multi-dog foster home in Malvern, Worcestershire through Nirina Dog Adoptions.
Rufus would be happy living with other compatible dogs or as an only pet. He needs active owners and a secure garden as he loves getting outside to explore. He can be strong on the lead at first, being so keen to get going!
Rufus is an affectionate boy once he trusts you. He is aloof with strangers to start with but warms up to people when he’s given the space to suss them out and decide that they’re nice. He especially loves belly rubs from his favourite people.
Rufus is clean and well behaved in the home. He can be left for a few hours quite happily, once he’s used to the routine. He’s OK in the car: cheerful but can be vocal about how exciting it all is!
