Gentle Cyril was saved from a hard life in Romania by Safe Rescue, and thankfully is now safe in a foster home in Norwich, Norfolk.
He is a medium sized, cross breed boy, around 8 or 9 yrs old who bears the scars of his previous life, where he was more than likely turned out onto the streets as he was getting old, which is sadly very common in Romania.
Cyril is good with other dogs out and about, and also within the home, so he could live with other dogs or be your only boy getting all of the attention.
He loves people and getting lots of love and cuddles. With not many teeth left, and the treatment he has had to endure in the past, he may not have many years ahead of him, but this gentle, placid boy really deserves a warm home, and comfy sofa on which to lay his head for the rest of his days.
Please note – When you adopt a Safe Rescue dog, you MUST use a slip lead. This will keep your dog safe: your new dog will be nervous and will not trust you, and you will not know which situations might upset your dog. If your dog panics, then a slip lead is the only way to prevent your dog from escaping (many dogs can escape from a collar and/or harness). It will take AT LEAST 3-6 months for your dog to settle-in and for you to know your dog fully (longer for nervous dogs). Further details can be fond on Cyril’s home page here.
