Robbie is a gorgeous 12-year-old male German Shepherd crossbreed who is being rehomed by Dogs 4 Rescue in Manchester. Note that Dogs 4 Rescue generally only rehome within the North West area.
Beautiful, brave Robbie has really blossomed during his time in rescue. He arrived a frightened, nervous boy, but has grown into a sweet, affectionate and playful dog.
Robbie loves to play with his toys, and nothing brings him more joy. It’s a real treat to watch him playing happily. Stuffed toys and teddies are his favourites and he throws them up into the air and catches them. When Robbie is not busy playing he enjoys meeting new dogs, and snoozing in the sun. He’s a laid-back, sweet soul who will make for a low maintenance companion.
He is learning to walk on a lead and he has made a lot of progress, but it will take time for him to feel confident outdoors. For this reason he needs a home with a secure garden.
Robbie enjoys the company of other dogs, and being around them helps him feel safe, so he needs a home with at least one confident dog. He also has potential to live with cats. What a superstar! He needs a calm, quiet household where there are no young children.
Handsome Robbie is a shy, sensitive boy and it takes a little time for him to bond with people, but once he does bond with you, he is incredibly loyal.
