1/6/2011 Poor Zena has had to be put to sleep after recent health problems. Sleep tight old girl :(

Zena is a beautiful 11 year old German Shepherd Dog lady who is in the care of Dunroamin K9 Rescue and is currently kennelled in South Yorkshire.
Poor Zena is in rescue because the owner, to whom she was devoted, has gone into hospital and will not be returning to her. Zena has been in the same home since being a puppy and has been used to the quiet life of just her and her owner. Understandably, Zena is very subdued in kennels.
Zena needs a quiet home where she won’t be pestered by young children. She isn’t used to mixing with other dogs but doesn’t seem to be overtly aggressive. She could possibly live with a laid-back male dog, provided introductions went well. She isn’t used to cats.
Zena’s back end is not as good as it once was and therefore she prefers regular, gentle ambles rather than long walks. She is spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated.
