3/1/2018 – We’re all very pleased to hear that Brave has now been adopted!!

Brave is about 7 years old and he is a medium sized crossbreed who is with Safe Rescue in a foster home in Great Yarmouth (Safe Rescue’s foster reference FR001).

Brave was rescued from Romania where he was probably kept in the yard and fed only when there were leftovers or scraps. His woeful tale came to a head when his owner shot him. The only positive from this callous act is that Brave was finally rescued from his miserable existence. His gunshot wounds were treated and healed and he is now in the UK awaiting a loving new home.

You might think that being shot by his owner would make Brave reluctant to be near humans, but in fact he is a friendly, happy and affectionate dog who even seems to smile. He is friendly with all the other dogs at his foster home, and he adores the children. Perhaps at some time in his life Brave has had some good experiences with humans that he remembers fondly, because he certainly knows how to love people.

Safe Rescue are determined that all of Brave’s future experiences with humans will be good ones, in fact, great ones! He deserves the very best and to be shown what his life should been like from the start.
