27/9/2017 Creamy Crystal has some good news: she has now found her forever home with her foster carers. They couldn’t part with her.

Beautiful Crystal has a gorgeous, creamy off-white coat with a personality to match. She is a 12 year old Akita currently living in Derbyshire and she is being helped to find her new, loving home by Friends of Akitas.
Rather like fine wine that gets better with age, this too applies to Snow White Crystal. She is definitely not past her prime despite being in her golden years. Despite having had a lifetime of neglect, Crystal is still sweet, loving and hopeful for her very own forever home.
Currently in foster, she has shown great adaptability and flexibility, living with both males and females harmoniously. Being a peace-loving soul, Crystal is also at ease with older, dog-aware children. She can also live with cats.
Who said that oldies can’t enjoy some good jollies? Crystal does not need a lot of exercise but adores her rambles and walks beautifully on the lead. While sprightly, she also enjoys human interaction and is a great one for pats and cuddles. Crystal is happy to be outdoors leisurely exploring, but she is equally content to snuggle up on the couch for your favourite show on the telly.
Crystal is completely house-trained and non-destructive. She is independent and can be left alone for a few hours without bother, greeting you warmly with a wagging tail on your return.
Crystal has been checked by the vets and had 2 cysts have been removed. She has also been spayed now and is good and ready for her new, forever home.
Crystal’s only fault (if this can even be considered a fault) is that she can be a picky eater. But given all her amazing qualities, this is not a problem.
If you have oodles of love for a grateful companion, you will be the perfect prince to the lovely Snow White Crystal.
