7/1/18 – Great news for Jack – he’s found his new home!
—————

This sweet face belongs to little old Jack, a 15 year old Jack Russell Terrier boy who is at The Ark Animal Rescue and Retirement Home, on the Lincolnshire coast.

Gorgeous Jack finds himself in rescue because his beloved owner has passed away and none of his family can keep Jack. Jack is a lovely, friendly boy who loves cuddles and simply relaxing with his special person. Jack would like a quiet, warm and comfortable home where he can be the devoted companion to an older person once again.

Jack should be fine with having children visit his new home. He also seems OK meeting other dogs when out, but it isn’t known if he has ever lived with another dog. He dislikes cats, and fireworks! Jack is fine to be left on his own for a few hours when you need to pop out for shopping etc.

Jack has never shown any aggression and is good around food and at the vets. He’s house-trained but will scent mark in new places. In his previous home he was happy to settle to sleep anywhere comfortable, including the sofa. He travels OK in the car but does bark and pant.

Jack is fit and well and still enjoys a walk. He pulls a little on the lead but it’s nothing major. He hasn’t been let off the lead so his recall is unknown outside the garden. He’s not interested in toys.

Jack has been neutered and his vaccinations are in the process of being brought up to date.

This sweet little old man desperately needs to be back in a warm, comfortable home. He’d love to have a new older person to love. Could that be you?
