19/11/17 – Roxie has found her new home!

Please meet Ravishing Roxie! She is a 12 year old Shih Tzu cross who has ended up in rescue because her previous humans have had to move into sheltered accommodation. Roxie is now in the care of All Animals Rescue and Rehome in Essex, waiting for a new forever home.
Roxie is a typical little lap dog and she loves to be close to you. She would literally spend her entire day snuggled up on your lap, and all night cuddled up under your duvet! She’s a very sweet girl, but because she’s had a rather unsettled life she can be a little insecure and frightened of change. She will initially bark in a new home, just until she knows she is safe. Roxie is therefore looking for a home with someone who can be around a lot to begin with, and spend time helping her settle in.
Roxie still enjoys going for a walk and is very easy on the lead. She is good in the home, house trained, and doesn’t mind being left alone for short periods of time. Roxie could live with older children, aged 10 years and above, so should settle nicely into a family home.
At the moment Roxie is in foster care and lives with eight other dogs of all shapes and sizes. She mixes well with them, but the rescue feels she would be happiest in a home where she could be the only dog and have all the attention to herself.
Roxie is spayed, microchipped and has been flea and worm-treated. She is a non-shedding dog so will need regular grooming and clipping.
