07/12/17 – Sasha has been adopted! Hooray!
This sweet girl is Sasha, an 8 year old beautifully hairy mixture who has been rescued from Romania. She is now safe in the care of 1 Dog At A Time Rescue and is in kennels in Milton Keynes.
Despite having a sad past, Sasha is a lovely, smiley dog and, once she knows and loves her new people, she will make a fantastic friend and companion.
Sasha used to live in the grounds of a factory, with someone feeding her there since she was a pup. She is a sweet and friendly girl but is understandably shy and will need to meet her new people several times at the kennels before she will be confident enough to go home with them.
She needs a nice quiet home with a sensible male dog to give her confidence and show her the ropes. She will need to be given time and patience to help her come out of her shell. She has not been cat tested. She could live with sensible children aged 12 years plus – younger children would probably startle and scare her.
Sasha’s tail has been broken at some time. She is neutered and vaccinated and has a passport. She needs a sensible diet and regular exercise to help reduce her cuddly waistline.
