10/05/18 – Beautiful Boss has been adopted! Hooray!

This splendid fellow is 8 year old German Shepherd boy Boss. He’s in the care of Vigil GSD Rescue at their kennels in Guildford, Surrey. He arrived with his brother Max because their elderly owner could no longer look after them. He’s a bit beautiful!

Gorgeous Boss is a real people person. He loves humans of all ages and would be happy living with dog savvy children. He loves a fuss and a cuddle!

Boss is looking for a home where someone can be with him most of the time. He does like relaxing in good company.

He can be offish when meeting other dogs out on walks. He did get on really well with Max though, so this reactiveness is probably just the usual protecting his family from outsiders. An experienced owner will be able to work around this easily and walk him at quiet places and times.

One volunteer walker recently said he’s very good on the lead, commenting on what a sweet boy he is and how affectionate.

It’s thought that Boss and Max were kept outdoors so he might need some extra help getting used to home life. German Shepherds are highly trainable as they’re super intelligent and driven to please their people. He’ll soon get the hang of comfort and fitting in with your routine. He’ll be the most loving and devoted companion you could wish for… and so gorgeous!
