22/03/18 – Harley has been adopted! Hooray!

This regal lady with the greying muzzle is Harley, an 11 years young Labrador cross who finds herself in rescue with Wonky Pets Rescue due to a relationship breakup and through no fault of her own. She is a super girl with the sweetest temperament; she loves everyone she meets. And everyone, in turn, falls in love with her!

Harley lived in a family with young children before and she is such a gentle, loving girl that she would be happy to have young human companions again. She is also great with other dogs, even the little yappy ones! Her kindly nature even extends to cats, livestock and poultry. She’s a big girl at 35 kilos, but as gentle as a lamb (unless another dog is impolite – but you have to draw the line somewhere!).

Harley travels well in the car, is spotless in the home and okay to be left for a few hours. She does pull a little on the lead at first, but settles down quickly. Her recall off lead is excellent.

Harley arrived in rescue with a fairly large lump on her back leg which was removed and found to be completely benign. She is spayed, chipped, vaccinated and comes to you with 5 weeks free pet insurance.

Harley is a beautiful soul; all she needs now is a loving new family to welcome her into the fold. She is fit and well and young at heart and has many happy years ahead of her. She wants to share them with you.
