16/9/18 – Marley with the cheeky grin has gone off to his new home!

Cheeky Marley is a 10 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier boy who finds himself at the Ark Animal Rescue on the Lincolnshire coast because of his owner’s ill health.

Lovely, friendly Marley is a fabulous boy who was living with a younger female dog and could potentially live with a female again, although he would need slow introductions. He hates cats though and can’t be trusted with them at all!

Marley has lived with children before, but now that he’s getting older he would probably be better in a home without children. He has never shown any aggression, but he will let you know with a little growl if he doesn’t want to do something. He’s very good around food and at the vets though.

Marley is house-trained and can be left alone for 4-5 hours but he might have an occasional accident if left longer. He travels well in the car.

On walks, Marley hasn’t been allowed off the lead that much, but his recall is OK. He pulls on the lead so will need some training for that. He enjoys having toys but he does chew them and you have to make sure he doesn’t swallow the bits.

Marley is fit and well and has been neutered. His vaccinations are up to date.

Cheeky Marley has reached an age where he would enjoy having a more peaceful life. Could you offer him a calm home and staffy experience?
