13/05/18 – Max has found his new home!
—————

Max is a 10 year old Westie who’s in foster care near Market Drayton in Shropshire, through Wonky Pets Rescue. So far he’s been OK with cats so he could possibly live with confident ones after careful introductions. He could live with dog savvy children from age 8, as he’s a happy, lively boy.

When Max came to Wonky Pets from the pound was in a bit of a state. He had a horrible flea allergy and was skin and bone. He is still quite thin but is slowly gaining weight with plenty of good quality food and lots of TLC. He has of course been treated for the flea allergy and his skin is much better already.

Max is great with other dogs when out and about. He mixes well with all sizes of dogs. In the home though he can become possessive of his person around other dogs and will warn them off and he also has some issues with other dogs around food, so it’s probably best that he looks for a home as the only dog.

Max is a happy, sprightly little lad who doesn’t act 10 at all. He absolutely loves his walks and will need a new home with someone who can provide him with plenty of exercise.

He is fine to be left for a few hours a day but wouldn’t want to be alone for a full working day. He travels OK in the car and walks well on the lead. He’s a friendly boy who loves a fuss and will happily approach people tail wagging to say hello.

Max is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and will be rehomed with 5 weeks free pet insurance.
