15/7/18 – Mr Blue has a new home lined up to go to!

Gorgeous Mister Blue is a true gentleman, which is just as well because he’s also huge! Currently weighing in at about 70kg, he’s a 7-8 year old Foxhound X possibly Fellhound/ possibly St Bernard. His owner sadly passed away and he’s in the care of the Irish Setter Rescue and Rehome, being fostered in Worcestershire. The rescue can arrange transport to any part of the UK for the perfect forever home for him.
Mister Blue gets on really well with other dogs of all sizes and would be happy living with another laid-back doggy pal or two, as long as they won’t mind his sizable presence! He’s lived peacefully with cats and is crate trained. He walks well in a headcollar but the rescue haven’t let him off the lead yet. He travels beautifully in the car. Adventures but in comfort… that’s living the dream!
Mister Blue is a big old soppy-head. He’s very loving and placid. He does need a home with plenty of space, naturally! He is on a diet and steadily losing the excess weight. It’s thought he has 10-15kg to go. He’s only getting gentle exercise so far as his fitness needs building up gradually.
He is neutered and healthy. Due to his age, the rescue offer help with any age related health issues which come up in future, for the rest of Mister Blue’s life.
