Pawprints to Freedom would like to introduce Newton, a 7 year old boy, who is very cute and no doubt just as wise as his name! He is currently living in a foster home in Burton-on-Trent and hoping to find his forever home soon.

Newton is a friendly, loving boy who loves to play alongside other dogs. He has never hurt a cat but likes to try to play with them, so he could live with a dog-savvy cat who enjoys a little playtime too. Newton is proving to be perfect in the house and just likes to sneak things into his bed for safe keeping!

Newton walks great on the lead, though he sometimes likes to take his time and gently plod along taking in the scenery. He would happily sleep through the day if he had his way. Newton will bark at visitors but he is easily distracted with a treat. He’s also easily pleased with food.

Newton is a bit of an escape artist and can be really sneaky at times trying to jump fences, so a secure fence in his forever home is a must.

Newton has no known medical needs and has been neutered.
